You Usually Lose If It's "All or Nothing"

The "President" of something called the Palestinian Authority spoke.

Abbas told tens of thousands of Palestinians who gathered at his Ramallah headquarters to mark four years since the death of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat that he wants a full peace deal and will accept no partial one. "We rejected Israeli proposals that stipulated making concessions including on Jerusalem and the refugees," he said.

"We either get all six points - Jerusalem, settlements, borders, refugees, water and security - or nothing at all," Abbas said.

And consider this:-

Jerusalem's Arab residents, who make up a third of the population, typically boycott the elections rather than show any recognition of Israeli control. They claim that the occupied eastern section of Jerusalem, in which most live, should be the capital of a future Palestinian state.
