Too Hot In The Firehouse

It has been reported in Montana

City commissioners on Monday will hear appeals from two of the four Helena firefighters who’ve been accused of inappropriate sexual conduct while on duty.

...City Manager Tim Burton has fired the firefighters for the alleged misconduct. Harvey and Summers are asking commissioners to consider reversing his decision.

They’re accused of having sex while on duty, according to city documents released a week ago. Harvey also allegedly gave Summers preferential treatment by allowing her to change her schedule and work duties. Summers is also accused of having sex on-duty with two other officers in the fire department.

Harvey and Summers were allegedly late to two emergency calls without reasonable explanation.

And how did the city cool things off?

Burton and individual city commissioners said they had broad conversations about the allegations in recent months.

Oh, well.
