Apologetica Friedman

Tom Friedman absolves the fanatic, murderous Arabs of the territory of "Palestine" of all responsibility for their fate and the fate of the Jews they kill:

For Palestinians, long trapped between burgeoning Israeli settlements and an Israeli occupation army, subject to lawlessness in their own cities and the fecklessness of their own political leadership...

And he goes on the praise, sickeningly, the new security forces the US is training.

This guy just doesn't get it. He really seems to believe that his people are the innocent good guys who are just defending themselves against the 'fanatic, murderous Arabs of the territory of "Palestine". How sick can one be to think of such a phrase?

I pity him...

YMedad said...

I don't need your pity. Just your intelligence and rationality. You do have some?

Rudayn said...

Apparently not enough, as I let your silly words provoke me to leave a comment that you don't even deserve. It is time for the whole world to understand that you people are a hopeless case, and there is no way to get you back to the realm of humanity.

Is there any other people in the world besides the Pals. and the Tamilis, who developed the tactic of suicide bombing to such an horrific affect? But the Pals. applied it exclusively to the civilian population at restaurants, on buses, in supermarkets, etc. That is not fanaticism and murder rather than a "national liberation struggle"?

Rudayn said...

Did it occur to you asking yourself why are they doing that? Maybe you think it is for fun..

What makes a man willing to kill himself but the promise he made that he will not accept the humiliation of being forced out of his home, witnessing his brothers being slaughtered, his sisters being raped, and his elderlies being kicked and dragged to bleeding. These people appreciate life and love it, but they will not accept to live in humiliation and will do whatever they can to return a stolen right and honor their people who will live to witness the righteous defeats the vicious. And believe it or not, this day is coming. So choose carefully on which side you will be on that day.

I am afraid what you have stated as fact is false. It is widely known in the Arab and Muslim history that in the year 638 Umar ibn al-khattab, after his conquest of Syria, had allowed the Jews into Jerusalem and granted them freedom to live and worship after 400 years. It was a time of prosperity for all who lived there, all three religions, as this was, and still is, seen as the holly land which should be shared by all. Islam tolerance was unprecedented to who are believed to be brothers to Muslims since all three religions came from one source. But, it was until the 11th century when the Crusaders arrived and brought death with them, and it was them who placed all the Jews in Jerusalem inside the city's synagogue and then burned it down.

As for citing the Quran, well that was not a clever thing to do from your side. Citing one particular piece of the story and neglecting the rest, which will make it complete, is not wise. If you wish I can cite dozens of phrases from the Quran to prove my point, but I know you are not a believer in the Quran and there is no point in doing so.

All that matter now, is that you cannot change the facts and legitimize your current, and previous, governments' actions. It is clear to almost everyone in the world what are you doing there and now. And the whole world will not forgive you for that.

Mr. Apologetica Fr ... what ever

Now you know and believe in the Holly Quran .. Have you read more than just this couple of lines?? Do you believe in the rest of it, because of you have ever read through you will never dare to say what you have said..I guess you know what I mean if you were clever enough.

Stop faking the history ... However I know that it’s became a habit which is very difficult to quite since the First World War.

I will give a short lesson in History ... and I know and Sure you will understand but you will never confess the truth ..

3,000-2,000 B.C.
Early Bronze Age. Arrival of Arab Canaanites who lived in Palestine Land for 1500 years
ca. 1,250 B.C.
Israelite INVATION of Canaan Land (Palestine) …. So you can see when does this starts … I would say this is the First Israeli INVATION … what do you think!!
586 B.C.
Judah defeated by Babylonians under Nebuchadnezzar. Deportation of its population to Babylon; destruction of the temple.
Obviously; since you have invaded Palestine first time more than 5000 years ago, the kingdom of Israel has stayed in Palestine for exactly 668 years .. After than the historical Palestine has became under the rules of different invader till 70 A.D when the Arab (with Canaanites Origin) were back to the land and lived on their own land for more than 1900 years …

Till the second attempt came on 1948 by another Israeli troops which hopefully forced to withdrawal from half of the land, and as the Holly Quran (which you have invoke earlier) is promising you will be cleansed from the rest shortly.

My dear friends of the Muslim faith, Khalid and Rudayn,

a) one has to actually believe in the Koran to be able to quote from it? I didn't know that. That's silly. I quoted it for you, not for me.

b) there is no such thing as "Arab Canaanites"? You are making things up.

c) for those who do not know what Rudayn is referring to, try Sura 2:88 where it is written about the Jews that "Allah has cursed them on account of their unbelief"; 121 that we are "losers"; 4:46 where Jewish women are cursed and also 5:13; 5:15 where Muslims are enjoined not to take Christians and Jews for friends; here's a good one: 5.33 - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement,"

This is a great religion for love, friendship, humanity, etc.

You see all, even if we Jews did nothing to any Arab in this country we'd be hated by Arab Muslims.

YMedad said...

And to continue about the Koran and Jews, here are 20 "bad traits" of the Jews, as they appear there:

1. "They used to fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah. Allah Almighty says: 'That is because they say: We have no duty to the Gentiles. They knowingly speak a lie concerning Allah.' (Al-'Imran: 75) Also: 'The Jews say: Allah's hand is fettered. [But it is] their hands that are fettered and they are accursed for saying [Allah's hands are fettered]. Nay, but both His hands are spread out wide in bounty. He bestoweth as He will' (Al-Ma'idah: 64) In another verse, Almighty Allah says: 'Verily, Allah heard the words of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): 'Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich! We shall record their words with their wrongful slaying of the Prophets and we shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning!' (Al-'Imran: 181)
2. "They love to listen to lies. Concerning this Allah says: 'And of the Jews: listeners for the sake of falsehood, listeners on behalf of other folk.' (Al-Ma'idah: 41)
3. "Disobeying Almighty Allah and never observing His commands. Allah says: 'And because they broke their covenant, We have cursed them and hardened their hearts.' (Al-Ma'idah: 13)
4. "Disputing and quarreling. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'Their Prophet said unto them: Lo! Allah hath raised up Saul to be a king for you. They said: How can he have kingdom over us when we are more deserving of the kingdom than he is, since he hath not been given wealth enough?' (Al-Baqarah: 247)
5. "Hiding the truth and supporting deception. This can be understood from the verse that reads: '… [They] distort the Scripture with their tongues, that ye may think that what they say is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture.' (Al-'Imran: 78)
6. "Rebelling against the Prophets and rejecting their guidance. This is clear in the verse: 'And when ye said: O Moses! We will not believe in thee till we see Allah plainly.' (Al-Baqarah: 55)
7. "Hypocrisy. In a verse, we read: 'And when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe; but when they go apart to their devils they declare: Lo! we are with you; verily we did but mock.' (Al-Baqarah: 14) In another verse, we read: 'Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practice it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense?' (Al-Baqarah: 44)
8. "Giving preference to their own interests over the rulings of religion and the dictates of truth. Allah says [to the Jews]: '… When there cometh unto you a messenger (from Allah) with that which ye yourselves desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye disbelieve and some ye slay?' (Al-Baqarah: 87)
9. "Wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'Many of the People of the Book long to make you disbelievers after your belief, through envy on their own account, after the truth hath become manifest unto them.' (Al-Baqarah: 109)
10. "They feel pain to see others in happiness and are gleeful when others are afflicted with a calamity. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'If a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto them, and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat.' (Al-'Imran: 120)

YMedad said...

11. "They are known for their arrogance and haughtiness. They claim to be the sons and of Allah and His beloved ones. Allah tells us about this in the verse that reads: 'The Jews and Christians say: We are sons of Allah and His loved ones.' (Al-Ma'idah: 18)
12. "Utilitarianism and opportunism are among their innate traits. This is clear in the verse that reads: 'And of their taking usury when they were forbidden it, and of their devouring people's wealth by false pretences.' (An-Nisa': 161)
13. "Their rudeness and vulgarity is beyond description. Referring to this, the Qur'anic verse reads: 'Some of those who are Jews change words from their context and say: We hear and disobey; hear thou as one who heareth not, and Listen to us!, distorting with their tongues and slandering religion. If they had said: We hear and we obey; hear thou, and look at us, it had been better for them, and more upright. But Allah hath cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, save for a few.' (An-Nisa':46)
14. "It is easy for them to slay people and kill innocents. Nothing in the world is dearer to their hearts than shedding blood and murdering human beings. They never give up this trait even with the Messengers and the Prophets. Allah says: '… And [they] slew the prophets wrongfully.' (Al-Baqarah: 61)
15. "They are merciless and heartless. In this meaning, the Qur'anic verse explains: 'Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness.' (Al-Baqarah: 74)
16. "They never keep their promises or fulfill their words. Almighty Allah says: Is it ever so that when ye make a covenant, a party of you violates it?' The truth is, most of them believe not.' (Al-Baqarah: 100)
17. "They rush hurriedly to sin and compete in transgression. Allah says: 'They restrained not one another from the wickedness they did. Verily, evil was what they used to do!' (Al-Ma'idah: 79)
18. "Cowardice and love for this worldly life are undisputable traits [of the Jews]. It is to this that the Qur'an refers when saying: 'Ye [Muslims] are more awful as fear in their [the Jews'] bosoms than Allah. That is because they are people who understand not. They will not fight against you in a group save in fortified villages or from behind walls. Their adversity among themselves is very great. Ye think of them as a whole whereas their hearts are diverse.' (Al-Hashr: 13-14) Allah Almighty also says: 'And thou wilt find them greediest of mankind for life and (greedier) than the idolaters.' (Al-Baqarah: 96)
19. "Miserliness runs deep in their hearts. Describing this, the Qur'an states: 'Or have they even a share in the Sovereignty? Then in that case, they would not give mankind even the speck on a date stone.' (An-Nisa': 53)
20. "Distorting Divine Revelation and Allah's Sacred Books. Allah says in this regard: 'Therefore woe be unto those who write the Scripture with their hands and say, 'This is from Allah,' that they may purchase a small gain therewith. Woe unto them for what their hands have written, and woe unto them for what they earn thereby.' (Al-Baqara: 79)

And they have a tradition that a Jewish woman, Zaynab Bint al-Harith , poisoned a lamb or a goat which helped kill Muhammed. But he also had at least one Jewish wife, Safiyya, and another: Rayhana bint Amr ibn Khunafa.

So be it that the Quran, which Muslims believe it to be the words of God, describes these people of being bad. All what your people are doing now is to prove right what the Quran says about them.

Do not go down that route for it is hopeless to achieve anything doing so. We are the people of the 21st century, and we all want to live in dignity and peace. This can only be achieved through rationality; as you have suggested in the beginning of this debate.

The State of Israel was declared on the Palestinian's land in May 14, 1948 by David Ben Gurion; and so says all of the modern world. This act has ignited the conflict between the Arabs and the Israelis that continues to this day. So rationality says in order to solve a problem you have to deal with the root cause. And the root cause is obvious here, isn't it?

YMedad said...

"The State of Israel was declared on the Palestinian's land in May 14, 1948 by David Ben Gurion; and so says all of the modern world" - you write.

But in principle, the basis for the State for the Jews in their ancient homeland stems from the decision at San Remo Conference and the League of Nations in 1922 in which the whole civilized world recognized the right of the Jews to reconstitute their national home. Even Prince Feisal knew that and agreed.

Rudayn said...

The civilized world that you are talking about was at a time of colonization, torn up between the world wars, and blinded by short-termed interests. The current civilized world, on the other hand, feels ashamed of that period of time, and condemns colonialism and other acts of war and invasion. But Israelis just do not care about the rest of the world seemingly!!

Yisrael … You have written a very long list which in fact doesn’t contribute toward what we have been talking about … its not even close. We were talking History not Religion.

You always try to create a religion background for the conflict, which has nothing to do with Muslim, Christian or Jewish religion. It’s a humanitarian issue, related to more than 4 million people have been ethnically cleansed from their home land, and they don’t have the right to come back, its about people who written in their birth certificate Haifa – Palestine 1947 and on their death certificate Haifa – Israel 1948 … does this sound weird a bit.

Second, “there is no such thing as "Arab Canaanites"? You are making things up” You said, Well its easy to say that as much as its easy form some people to say there is nothing called Holocaust !! it’s a big lie and you made it up …

YMedad said...

Oh, but we do care very much. For example, we try to warn the civilized world that Arabs are planning a new colonialisation after being occupiers of Europe from southern France and Spain to the gates of Vienna in the early Middle Ages, part of that previous colonial era you described and hope some countries won't have to repeat the reconquista, al-ʼIstirdād.

YMedad said...

Khalid, who ethnically cleansed Tel Hai in March 1920 of its Jews? Hebron in 1929 and also tried in 1834? Who tried to ethnically cleanse Hulda in 1929? Tiberias in 1938? etc., etc.

Arabs.

Funny, the first time Arabs are mentioned in history, it's in a battle in Syria when the Israelite King Ahab fought Shalmanesser. And the Arab was an ally.

And be careful with the Holocaust. After all the Mufti Haj Amin did with Hitler to kill Jews, I wouldn't raise the subject even hypothetically.

Unknown said...

What a mythical stories, I have to say, you have created a myth and promoted some stories which I understand how difficult it became for you to distinguish between the truth and the pure imagination.

And what you mean be careful with the Holocaust .. Its really funny when you said "Mufti Haj Amin did with Hitler to kill Jews" !!! As if Hitler needed a permission from someone like Mufti Haj Amin to do what you think he has done ... be rational Yisrael and don’t count on the fact that people are not educated enough in this topic … They might don’t know enough but they can think and analyse. The Holocaust is something between Jews and Europe and you can’t beg and claim other people land because of this.
