My wife and I marked this week the 40th anniversary of our arrival as Olim in Israel.
We had both been in the country previously as students.
We arrived on September 5 just about two months after getting married on June 23, 1970.
We came on the Queen Anne Marie of the Greek Line. Twelve days at sea with a short stop-off at Lisbon and a longer one-day visit to Athens.
Just to let you know how time flies.
