My Interview on "Peace in the Making"

My recorded interview is here.

This interview:

On Hour 2 of Judean Eve:

Over 30 years ago Menachem Begin and Anwar el-Sadat signed a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt despite, not because of, the involvement of Jimmy Carter. A new book issued by Gefen Publishing House reveals the personal correspondence of these 2 leaders for the first time. Yisrael Medad, who edited the letters along with the late Harry Hurwitz, speaks with Eve about the book, Begin, and his own political involvement at the time (as someone opposed to the deal). How did Begin and Sadat's ideologies, personal histories, sense of patriotism, religious leanings and world outlook affect the outcome of the negotiations? Has hindsight changed our perspective on the monumental events that set tremendous precedents - for good and for bad?
