Yallah Betar, Yallah!

One of the two new owners of the Betar Jerusalem soccer team in Dan Adler.

So?

Well, Betar is known, unfortunately, for the robust nationalist sengtiments expressed by its fans.

Adler is known for being married to a Korean, losing an election and being a member of the Board of Directors of the Israel Policy Forum who signed on to this 2004 letter:

...we urge you to guide the Administration's foreign policy towards the following goals:

The empowerment of new moderate, pragmatic Palestinian leaders, so that they can bring tangible improvements to the daily lives of Palestinians right away. These include Israel's easing of restriction of movement for Palestinians in the West Bank, allowing more Palestinians to work in Israel to support their families and releasing additional funds to the Palestinian Authority...Helping Israel to reorient its plan to unilaterally disengage from Gaza and several settlements in the northern West Bank...This withdrawal would then become an important step toward reviving the Administration's "Roadmap to Peace."

and in 2005, this Los Angelino, whose father was a Holocaust survivor, who is

a principal at Media Eagles, Inc., a media and entertainment company, was honored by Israel Policy Forum (IPF) at its annual tribute dinner. Adler, who previously headed the new media division at Creative Artists Agency, spearheaded Project Communicate, which mobilized the entertainment industry to help improve the image of Israel on college campuses. He joined IPF's Board of Trustees last year.

This should be ver-r-r-y inter-r-r-esting.
