Obama Said Start; The Arabs Say Go

Back in May, I pointed out that President Obama had used the word "start" when referring to what he wanted Israel to do as regards a pull to the the Green Line.  I suggested that  "start" probably would be taken to mean that the Arabs can get more territory as it surely can not mean that Obama thinks Israel should be able to hold on to area east of the Green Line that, Israel should can get more land from the Arabs.  After all, he suggested "land swaps"

"the PA did not have the right to agree to the 1949 Armistice borders because the UN partition resolution of 1947 granted the Arabs 44% of the "historical land of Palestine." Therefore agreeing to the 1949 borders is "a questionable proposition and an act of bad faith," in his opinion, because it cedes Israel land it gained in the War of Independence."

That was by Dr. Rateb Amro, Director General and Founder of the Horizon Center for Studies and Research of Jordan.
So, I was right.
