More Good and Positive Occupation

Following up on my previous post on occupation, here are some sites which relate quite positively to the act of "occupation":

Occupy Wall Street

Occupy Together

Occupy London

Occupy Canada

Occupy Italy

Occupy Germany

et al.

And only an "occupation" connected to Jews upsets the tender souls for all sorts of reasons and get a UN hearing:

- "Settlement activities embody the core of the policy of colonial military occupation of the land of the Palestinian people";

- "The occupation is racing against time to redraw the borders on our land";

- The occupation is racing against time to redraw the borders on our land";

- "Will [the world] allow Israel to continue its occupation, the only occupation in the world? Will it allow Israel to remain a State above the law and accountability?";

- "our people...[will] feel that someone is listening to their narrative and that their tragedy and the horrors of Al-Nakba and the occupation, from which they have so suffered..."

and let's not forget the confrontation:

It is a moment of truth and my people are waiting to hear the answer of the world," Abbas said. "After 63 years of suffering: enough, enough, enough."...That reference to "63 years of suffering" was seized on by Netanyahu, who cited it as evidence that the Palestinian grievance is not merely the post-1967 occupation, but the existence of Israel itself.

Some people are a bit lucky with "occupation", I guess.
