Should Arab Neighborhoods Be Skipped Over?

Should Arab neighborhoods be skipped over as a result of the attack this morning?

The stabbing occurred while the Jerusalem light-rail was stopped at a station on Yekutiel Adam street in the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Zeev at about 10:15 a.m. on Thursday. All north-bound Jerusalem light rail trains have been halted since the attack.

According to Israel Radio, the attacker got onto the train two stations before the Pisgat Zeev station. At the Yekutiel Adam street station the attacker stood by the door, and as it opened he stabbed the woman soldier, who was in army uniform, and then fled.

Dvir Adani, a volunteer with the Hatzolah organization who was at the scene, said he saw the woman lying unconscious on the floor.

The soldier was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and is said to be in serious condition.

Is that an act of apartheid, discrimnation or - self-defense?
