And On the Other Side of the Atlantic

(UPDATE below)

The Americans have their affairs

and the British have theirs:

Nadine Dorries is appearing in the "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here" program in Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia:

but she

faces parliamentary suspension, being investigated by the Parliamentary Standards Officer over claims she has breached the MPs’ Code of Conduct, anger from her constituents... and now one woman has accused her of ruining her life.  Rachael Butler, who the Daily Express reports says that she and the Mid-Bedfordshire MP were close friends, claims Nadine 'ruined her life' by having an affair with her husband of 30 years, who walked out on her in Christmas 2010.
Mr Butler, 57, has strenuously denied these claims, saying in January 2011 that his relationship with Nadine began only after his marriage ended. Nadine, who allegedly struck up a friendship with the Butlers 14 years ago, claimed at the time that the marriage collapsed because of Mrs Butler's alcoholism.
The Conservative MP also alleged that the 56-year-old, from Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, had cheated on Mr Butler with a man called Stephen Coad - something that both parties vigorously deny.
Mrs Butler told the Daily Express, that she does have a problem with alcohol and that her marriage suffered from it...Despite being suspended from the Conservative party the 55year-old MP didn't appear to have a care in the world as she ran along in the sand on the beach

Jilll Kelley is the 'other woman'.
