Here They Come - The Internationalists

Found here:

The International Solidarity Movement is issuing a call-out for internationals to volunteer as field activists and office workers in the West Bank, Gaza, and occupied East Jerusalem this summer...the summer campaign, which will run from June 6th until August 15th, aims to challenge the continued theft of Palestinian land for the rapid expansion of illegal Israeli settlements and their infrastructure in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank...

Below are some of the actions ISM volunteers can anticipate this summer:

1. ISM volunteers will stand in solidarity with the Palestinian families of occupied East Jerusalem who face dispossession...

2. In the West Bank, volunteers will join Palestinian villagers in nonviolent demonstrations against the Wall, and other apartheid infrastructure of the occupation such as checkpoint, settlements, and Israeli-only roads. Activists will be working in communities such as Ni’lin, Bil’in, Jayyous, Husan and Tulkarem...

3. The ISM volunteers in the Gaza Strip will continue to accompany Palestinian farmers who frequently face live fire from the army as they work their land in the buffer zone...

Internationalists vs. Jewish nationalists. Rachel Corrie vs. bulldozer. Voice vs. tear gas grenade...

Aren't you proud of yourself and your state Medad? Israel über alles!

Galia, you can leave comments and rant and rave and call me names. No Nazi allusions. Or you'll be erased. Carry on a relatively civilized discussion and debate. Once more that Uber alles business and goodbye.

2 weeks ago a young Palestinian demonstrator was killed by the Israeli military while peacefully demonstrating in Ni'lin.

Almost every week people (Palestinians, Israelis, internationals) get injured at the demo's in Bil'in, Ni'lin or any other Palestinian village that is losing its land and access roads due to Israeli theft and blockades.

A friend of mine got a tear gas canister shot on his head while taking pictures in Bil'in last year.
Another friend (who was with the ISM) got severly beaten up, kidnapped and put in jail without any kind of judicial process, by the Israeli military.

The list is very long, believe me. The Israeli military uses these peaceful protests as a playground, the soldiers shoot at free will and test new weapons (recently a weapon that can launch 32 tear gas canisters at the same time). The heavily armed soldiers shoot with rubber coated steel bullets (which are still a deadly weapon!) at unarmed protestors from a close distance.
I wish, Mr Medad, that you could have the guts to go to one of these demo's and see with yourself what horrible crimes your army is doing there.

Sorry Medad, i couldn't help not to see the similar rethoric.
Got problem with German ? What does it sound like in Hebrew? You must have a similar slogan for all the things you are willing to sacrifice for Israel.

Israel über alles! means over all. The Nazis adopted it to mean over all humanity. Israelis don't want to rule the world, unlike Islamists. So, Nazi semantics have no place here. Period.

Well, Martin, you like to lie?

"The Bil'in shooting occurred during a protest during which around 100 demonstrators hurled stones at soldiers and tried to destroy the fence, army sources said.
...
The IDF said Saturday that troops opened fire to disperse a violent, three-hour protest that was taking place in a closed military zone."

So, not peaceful, and they were in a closed military zone.

If you come into my house, you will die too - perfectly legal for me to kill you - so you are invited antisemetic schmuck.

You just dont like that jews have guns and know how to use them. LOL

get used to it.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see

Turning philosophical as a last resort?

The facts stay neither Bassem (nor for that matter anyone else on that demonstration) trow any stones or act violent in that protest and yet he got killed by Israeli. Peaceful Palestinian demonstrators are victims of Israeli violence.

If this incident wasn't vidiotaped, you would have accused Palestinians of violence once again. This recording is a proof that you are wrong in your judgment. Why do you refuse to see that Israeli killing Palestinian people? Why don't you condemn violence on Israeli side?

It can't work in reality, that's exactly what I think.
